Classics Day 2015
Classics Day is a multi-event festival at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro that celebrates some of the highlights of classical Greece and Rome. It is planned, organized, and carried out by the members and advisor of the student-run Classical Society, which is sponsored by the UNCG Department of Classical Studies, and with assistance from faculty in the department. Grants from the North Carolina Junior Classical League and the Classical Association of the Middle West and South’s Committee for the Promotion of Latin support the event, as do funds generated through member dues and fundraisers.
The Sixth Annual UNCG Classics Day was held November 14, 2015 from 10am -3pm on the Stone Lawn (off College Ave.)
